Cubo are a serviced office provider with a modern way of working; large open plan co-working spaces, hot desks and designated desks and separate floors of private offices for tenants of all sizes. They have had a huge amount growth over the past few years and are looking for new locations to open their flexible office scheme.
Cubo Derby first opened their doors in February 2020, with Cubo Nottingham following in October that year and Cubo Sheffield being the most recent opening April 2021.
So, where next? That is the question that has come up from Cubo directors Marc and Rebecca Brough.
“To give some scale to the growth we have had here at Cubo, Derby is now 90% full, Nottingham at 77% and with Sheffield only being open for 10 weeks we are already at 40% capacity over the three floors of private office space.”
Cubo as a whole is doing amazingly well, and with some great feedback from their members, Cubo are ready to take their venture to the next level and open even more sites in the key cities throughout the UK. They are definitely one to watch in the business world and they have an amazing community supporting them at Cubo.
“We’ve had such a huge success with launching Cubo, even at the most critical time for businesses and we are now currently seeking out new locations to carry on our expansion” said owner and Managing Director Marc Brough. Despite the impact COVID has had on many businesses, the tenants at Cubo have increased during the pandemic, with many businesses having to adopt a remote working style or downsize due to loss of staff or profits. Cubo has been able to support these businesses and offer them an option to continue to work safely. An option that couldn’t have been possible without their flexible approach to office space. Supporting NHS staff and IT companies who support schools in remote learning has been a huge part of the service Cubo provided over the last year. These essential businesses we are able to form a base at Cubo to ensure the safe and continued support was carried out in their sector.

The way Cubo allows businesses to offer flexible working is through their memberships of private offices, hot desks, designated desks or studios, or a combination to tailor the package to the employees of businesses across all of their sites.
Along with the 3 floors of office space at Sheffield Cubo were pleased to announce that their successful and very popular Nottingham bar Alto will be coming to the rooftop of Carver Street. Cubo Sheffield, at 38 Caver Street will also be the home to Alto, opening in Sheffield this summer, a bar and restaurant with a rooftop terrace.
