Kathryn Rodgers joins Cubo
One of our newest member at Cubo Derby, has taken some time out to answer our questions on her experience of joining Cubo.
Kathryn Rodgers, who runs Face to Face HR, a consultancy business has recently joined Cubo Derby. Here is what she had to say.
Q: Firstly we want to start by welcoming you to Cubo Derby. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
A: “I’m Kathryn, I’m a transplanted Geordie living in Nottingham (via Dubai – as you do!) with my husband, little boy and two very needy cats. I’ve been running my HR consultancy business for just over two years and I love helping small businesses find the right solutions to their people challenges. I’m also really nosy and like finding out all the secrets!”
Q: Having worked from home, what would you say were your main reasons for wanting to find an alternative work space?
A: “After the events of this year, I think we all have a new appreciation for the importance of a change of scenery! It’s also good to get away from home distractions like washing – and those needy cats…”
Q: Returning to a work environment can be a bit daunting after spending so much time spent at home during this pandemic, would you say that Cubo has helped with that transition?
A: “I worked from home before COVID, so my working environment hasn’t really changed, but I’ve definitely missed getting out and about and spending time with other business owners. I’m looking forward to getting to know my fellow members.”
Q: What’s your favourite thing about Cubo?
A: “It’s beautifully fitted out, you get a super warm welcome – and great coffee!”
